Definitions
 
Processing of personal data is any activity – collection, processing, storage, correction or deletion of data – that is carried out with the personal data of the user of the website and intranet (hereinafter referred to as the user).
 
Users are all persons who visit the website and the intranet, consume services or provide information to the EE. For example, reading news/newsletters, subscribing to services, creating an account or contacting OÜ Eesti Elektroonikaromu by e-mail.
 
Services are all free and paid products and services offered by EE, including seminars, training and e-books.
 
What is personal data and what personal data does EE process?
 
Personal data (hereinafter also referred to as ‘data’) is data that can be associated, directly or indirectly, with you as an individual:

On what basis and for what purposes do we process your personal data?
 
By using the Website, the user consents to the processing of his/her data in accordance with these Privacy Policy.
 
EE uses personal data:
 
to provide a service to the user, to communicate with the user, to send invoices;

to send newsletters/newsletters and similar information to the user’s e-mail address with the user’s prior consent;

purchase history data is used to compile a survey of services purchased and to analyse customer preferences;

the bank account number is used to refund payments to the customer;

personal data, such as e-mail address, telephone number, customer name, etc., are processed in order to resolve issues related to the provision of services.

EE uses website and intranet traffic statistics to improve the user experience and for more effective marketing.
 
Users have the right to object at any time to the processing of their personal data, unless this is necessary to fulfil a contractual requirement, including the provision of a service.
 
Transfer of personal data to third parties
 
A third party is an EE contractual partner who processes personal data and through whose product or service OÜ Eesti Elektronikaromu provides services to the user.
 
EE makes use of third parties who provide:
 
An e-mail delivery and management system;
(i) to provide services to EE (e.g. a service provider); and
website hosting;
analysis of website usage statistics;
social media use and analysis of social media statistics;
use of accounting software;
Invoicing and billing.
Storage and security of personal data
 
EE implements appropriate physical, organisational and IT security measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised access and disclosure.
 
EE shall retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or for as long as required by law. For example, accounting data is kept for 7 years from the end of the financial year, while an e-mail address on a mailing list is kept until the user expresses the wish to remove it.
 
Personal data will be deleted when the EE website account is closed, except where such data need to be kept for accounting purposes or to resolve consumer disputes.
 
In the case of disputes relating to payments and consumer disputes, personal data will be kept until the claim is settled or the limitation period expires. Access to personal data shall be granted to EE employees who can access personal data for the purpose of resolving technical issues related to the use of the website and the intranet.
 
Access, rectification, erasure and portability of personal data
 
Access to and correction of personal data is possible upon written request.
 
In order to request the deletion of personal data, please contact info@elektroonikaromu.ee. A reply to the deletion request will be sent within two weeks at the latest, specifying the period of deletion.
 
Requests for transfer of personal data made by e-mail will be answered within one month at the latest. An EE employee will verify the identity and inform about the personal data to be transferred.
 
User rights
 
The user has the right at any time:
 
to request access to his/her personal data;
Request the rectification, integration or deletion of personal data under the conditions provided for by law;
Request the restriction of the processing of personal data;
Request the transfer of personal data.
In order to exercise these rights, the user must send a request to this effect to info@elektroonikaromu.ee by e-mail.
 
If the user is a member of the EE mailing list, he/she will have the possibility to remove himself/herself from the mailing list and to unsubscribe from further correspondence via the link at the end of each e-mail.
 
To restrict the use of cookies, the user can set the appropriate options in his/her browser settings.
 
If the User believes that his or her rights have been infringed in relation to the processing of personal data, he or she has the right to contact the Data Protection Inspectorate.
