Eesti Elektroonikaromu stands at the forefront of responsible electronic waste management in Estonia as a renowned Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO). Its primary objective is to bring together collectors and recyclers of end-of-life electronics and all types of batteries, offering an integrated solution for managing electronic waste.
Producers of electronic equipment (including batteries and accumulators) are responsible for the collection, recycling and recovery of waste from electronic equipment they manufacture, import or resell. This is known as PRODUCER RESPONSIBILITY and extends to importers and distributors (including online shops and retailers).
